Stephen has been providing financial advice for more than 25 years, has lectured on retirement income strategies, and has taught investment classes at the American Institute of Banking and Penn State University, including his popular course titled “Preserving and Protecting Wealth in Today’s Economy.” He also volunteers as a teacher and presenter to explain the benefits of charitable estate planning to churches and nonprofit organizations.

Designation granted by The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA. ChFC® candidates must complete several years’ worth of examinations and training. ChFC® professionals are guided by a strict code of ethics involving professionalism, client service and continuing education requirements. They have in-depth knowledge of key financial services disciplines including insurance, income taxation, retirement planning, investments and estate planning strategies.
Designation granted by The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA, representing the pinnacle in insurance knowledge. Upon completion of this prestigious course of study, CLU® professionals are provided with in-depth knowledge of the insurance and estate planning needs of individuals and business owners.
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ - Designation granted by the CFP Board of Standards. Candidates must first have three years of financial planning experience and a bachelor’s degree, or five years of financial planning experience before they can qualify. Upon completion of a final, ten hour certification exam, the CFP® certificant must remain current on continuing education requirements. CFP® professionals must pass extensive coursework in financial strategies, tax strategies, employee benefits, retirement and estate strategies, investment management and insurance.
